Simona Monizza gave 1 november in EYE a classroom presentation to almost 200 first-year students of Media Culture in Transition of the UvA. Together with other fellow curators they took the challenge to show films from the collection varying from silent films to newsreels and experimental one. I am very happy that Simona showed my film WENDE during this event.

Exhibition Re-Vision

The project Re-Vision is based on my personal photographic archive. Family and other photos I took
over the years became the starting point for a mental journey, in search of memories and meanings.
My initial enthusiasm about what these pictures could reveal to me, turned into a prosaic realization of the
ephemeral moments that were gone.
There is no mystery to reveal, and no memory to contain. What remains is literally the surface of an image.
In Re-Vision, I exhibit new photoworks and two publications, "Wellengang" and "Sehversuche."
